Personal Experience

With more than 35 years of experience, James began his career at General Dynamics EBDiy – US Nuclear Power Submarine Division in 1986. Within this company James held a variety of roles with increased responsibilities including Monitoring and Diagnostic Engineer, Lead Mechanical Nuclear Construction, Lead Radiology Shipping Engineer, and Lead Environmental Engineer. In 1996 James was recruited by GE Energy where he worked as a Lead Acoustic Engineer for their Gas Turbine Inlet and Exhaust divisions. James then joined Lockheed Martin as a Senior Refueling Engineer in 1999. In 2002 James returned to GE Energy where he assumed numerous roles including Senior Steam Turbine Requisition Manager, Senior Product Structuring Engineer, Senior Thermal Design Engineer and Senior IGCC Integration Leader. James was recruited by Airkinetics as General Manager in 2008 and in 2013 he joined ATCO Emissions Management as the Northeast Sales Manager. He successfully carried on in this position after the business was sold to Tri-West Capital Partners on December 31, 2015 – the beginning of INNOVA Global. In 2019 James went on to work for ACI Controls as the New York Northeast Outside Sales Representative before joining EnergyLink International in 2024 as Manager, Business Development – Buildings.

James received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Union College in 1986. He later went on to receive his MS Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1994.
