Associate Manager, Building Systems & Designs

Nick’s passion for innovation and drive to deliver the most advanced solutions for our customers has made him a valued member of the EnergyLink International team. As Associate Manager, Building Systems and Designs, Nick is constantly at the forefront in coordinating, designing and implementing cost-effective strategies that create further value throughout the design, fabrication and installation process. His collaborative approach and articulate style ensure the highest quality in deliverables with all our projects.

Personal Experience

Nick began his career in 2010 as an Architectural Designer for Hillfeld Strathallan College where he was contracted to create extensive architectural floor plans for HSC campus and existing buildings. In addition to this position, Nick also worked as a Junior Structural / Architectural Technologist for Ausenco Sandwell where he developed and revised construction drawings primarily focusing on Metrolinx. In 2012 Nick joined ATCO Emissions Management as a Design Technologist and Technical Coordinator. He successfully carried on in this role after the business was sold to Tri-West Capital Partners on December 31, 2015 – the beginning of INNOVA Global – and was subsequently promoted to Senior Designer Technologist and Lead. Nick then transitioned to IFAB Engineering Partners as a Structural & Architectural Designer and later moved to GreyStone as BIM Manager – Architectural & Structural Designer where he focused on Mix-use developments and retail sector with clients such as Walmart/ Sobeys. Following this, Nick transitioned to Z Modular, as the BIM Coordinator – Architectural & Structural Designer and was involved in commercial/ residential modular projects using the latest design, engineering and manufacturing technology. Having established a solid reputation for reliability and creativity with former colleagues, Nick was recruited by EnergyLink International in 2020 as Associate Manager, Building Systems and Designs.

Nick received his Business Management Advanced Diploma, from Mohawk College in 2017. He went on to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Infrastructure Technology from McMaster University.  Nick is also a registered C.E.T. from the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).
